Horseback Riding During Long Valley Cattle Drive

    Rss Feed March 3rd, 2009

Horseback riding in the annual Long Valley Cattle Drive is an amazing equestrian vacation for horse lovers. In this American Western cattle drive, participants move hundreds of cattle from the winter range on the north rim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona-Utah region to the summer pastures on the Bryce Canyon Plateau each June. The drive from summer pastures to the winter range takes place in late October or early November.

Your horseback riding cattle drive will be a little slow. Therefore, you will not necessarily require advanced equestrian skills. One thing is for sure; this experience can give recreational as well as professional riders an authentic taste of the Old West.
