    Horseback Riding In Navajoland

    Rss Feed
     March 3rd, 2009

Navajoland proves to be one of the most amazing equestrian vacations in the world. You are likely to get most out of your horse riding holiday in this area. Navajoland is the United State’s largest Indian Reservation, which spreads into three states, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah. The majority of the land is in Arizona.

On your northern Arizona tour, you should not miss traveling Navajoland. While you are on the reservation, opt for a horseback riding in order to explore its dramatic landscape. Trail riding in Navajoland is one of the most popular activities that most people can not afford to miss. A horse riding holiday in Navajoland is basically a trail ride, crossing three areas of the Navajo Indian Reservation. All these areas offer different experiences.

This horse riding destination is best for those who are comfortable camping out. There are many services offering horseback riding in Navajoland. Many of them start in the Canyon de Chelly; then riding two days through Monument Valley, witnessing famous natural arches, mesas and buttes; and riding to foothills of Navajo Mountain and spending the final days there.

Some of the must-see places in Navajoland include Navajo National Monument, the Betatakin/Talastima ruins, the Navajo Interactive Museum, canyons, and other various beautiful monuments.
