George Halkett’s “Horse Show Management” Clinic

Equine clinician, George Halkett will conduct a clinic at the 2009 Equine Affaire at Fairplex, Pomona, California. He will teach participants on “Horse Show Management: Tips for Efficiently Running a Horse Show of Any Magnitude.” The equine exposition starts on January 29..

 

Halkett is a renowned equine practitioner who holds many certificates, an international trainer’s passport, and numerous awards. Currently, he is the director of Albion College’s Nancy G. Held Equestrian Center. The current riding team from Albion will be on hand in building eight, booth 807, to enjoy and no doubt bring spirit to the EquineAffaire.

 In the past, Halkett directed the riding program at Stoneleigh-Burnham High School in Massachusetts. During his term students won four national titles in three years and an Interscholastic Dressage Assoc. National championship.

George Halkett is a native of Scotland. He served in the British Army as a member of the Queen’s Household Cavalry. He is a graduate of the British Horse Society’s rigorous training program. Halkett has nearly thirty years of experience working internationally in the horse industry.
