The National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) has increased focus on animal welfare and medications. At the January 2011 NRHA Board of Directors meeting, the Board voted to accept an NRHA animal welfare and medications policy rule change draft as submitted and edited at their meeting. They also voted to receive further feedback from the membership before making a final submittal for a 2012 rule change.

NRHA Executive Committee members and staff will be in attendance to keep note of all member comments, concerns, suggestions and questions. Please refer to the tentative schedule below. 

They are still working to confirm dates and times, as well as looking for an appropriate time in other regions.
