The Norco Extreme Mustang Makeover Trail Challenge was won by Gary Wedemeyer of Wintaur, California riding The Deacon. The Deacon is a wild Mustang that Don picked up just ninety day before the event and is from the Wilson Creek herd. After two days of urban trail riding challenges that included Lamas, barking dogs, river crossings and lots of city traffic Don took first place in the 2010 Norco Extreme Mustang Makeover Trail Challenge.

Tom Shiloh and Silent tie with Don Douglass and Shane tied for second

Ray Ariss provided insightful commentary while the judges totaled their scores.

Mustangs will be roaming in the hills of Norco, California for the Extreme Mustang Makeover. Horse2Heart visited with the trainers when they picked up their very wild Mustangs at the Ridgecrest Regional Wild Horse & Burro Corrals in Ridgecrest, CA and now we will be checking out what they have accomplished in just ninety days.
