My “Blaze” Of Glory | A Story Of A Quarter Horse

I bought Blaze when I was 8 years old. He is a little quarter horse/ pony. Sorrel in color and has perfect blaze. He was trained for games when I bought him and he was in his early teen years. He was and still is the best thing that ever happened to me. He has taught me everything I know about horses and will ever know. He won me a state fair trip every year at our county fair. And at shows was always placed no matter what.

[private]This horse kept me away from doing dumb things that other kids were and are doing. And every time I’m feeling low I go out and jump on his back and sit there while he will just stand and graze. Blaze is now 21 and is showing his age. He has arthritis in his front hocks but still is more than willing to take my little cousins for a run around the barrels for fun. He is now living happily in the pasture with my other three horses and will stay here until the end. I know he is the best thing that ever happened to me but losing him will be the worst, although someday I know we will meet up again and go for one more last ride.[/private]
